Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time

What can I say? Maybe by third favourite album after maybe "The Number of the Beast" and "Piece Of Mind". The tone on this album is very unlike Maiden in that uses a lot of synthetic guitar sounds, which makes this tone hard to replicate (specially since this album evidently uses a squealing treble booster under a very tight compressor of sorts, giving it a plastic, yet robotic, steely feel - perfect for the album theme - being Caught Somewhere In Time.

My favourite songs would have to be "Alexander the Great", "Wasted Years", "Caught Somewhere In Time", "Déjà Vu" "Stranger In A Stranger Land", "Heaven Can Wait" and "Sea Of Madness". My favourite from them probably being "Alexander the Great". It's just a masterpiece.
